Brief Bio

Ross Langmead teaches mission studies at Whitley College in Parkville—where he is Dean—and is a member at Westgate Baptist Community in Yarraville.

His doctoral studies were on incarnational mission — integrating word and deed.

He is the author of The Word Made Flesh: Towards an Incarnational Missiology (2004) and the editor of Reimagining God and Mission (2007).

Ross writes songs for worship and has published a collection of songs called On the Road (1988).

He is married to Alison and has two adult offspring. He became a grandfather in 2010.

He is a keen environmentalist and rides his bike to work most days.

[Note:   I strongly prefer to be introduced by what I do, e.g.,  "teach mission studies", than by my title or status, e.g., "Dr" or "Professor of Missiology" (what was that big word?).]
